Flour and salted pork again?  The mess cooks get ready to build and fire to cook dinner for their fellow soldiers using Continental Army rations.
We enjoyed watching the soldiers practice maneuvers in the parade ground.
 Located within the shadow of the Adirondack Mountains and overlooking Vermont's picturesque Green Mountains, Fort Ticonderoga guards the historic portage between Lake Champlain and Lake George.
Before we headed back to camp, we had lunch in Ticonderoga, New York.  Beautiful Centennial Falls is located in Ticonderoga.
In virtually every New England town, the church and its beautiful steeple is the focal point of the landscape.
The East Shoreham Railroad Bridge was built in 1897 and is preserved for future generations.
The bridge is a National Registered Engineering Landmark owned by the State of Vermont and is a beautiful sight.
