"Roughing it" with our friends Jane and Ron Newman and their pal, Ripken.
The drive home through Salida is always so pretty as the road follows the Arkansas River.
Did you know that Kansans pronounce it the Ar-CAN-zus?  Weird, huh?
On August 18, we attended the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico.  Rev. Jay Jones presented a great message.
It was a simple sanctuary with the real focus on the cross . . . as it should be!
We spent one night, on the way home, in Supply Park Campground, a Corps of Engineers park on Fort Supply Lake in Oklahoma.
It was a nice and very peaceful campground and we had a great view of the lake.
