Ahhhhhh . . . back home in our beloved Ozarks and one of our favorite camping spots on Beaver Lake near Eureka Springs.
Our friends, Diane and Bill Pharis joined us for a long weekend.  A large time was had by all!
Another beautiful sunset on Beaver Lake.
On Sunday morning, we attended Thorncrown Chapel, as we do every time we are in Eureka for the weekend.  This beautiful chapel was designed by world famous architect and designer, E. Fay Jones, an Arkansas native.
Jones was an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright.  He is also the only one of Wright's disciples to have received the AIA Gold Medal (1990), the highest honor awarded by the American Institute of Architects.  The chapel was chosen 4th on the AIA's top designs of the 20th century.  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, despite being only 20 years old, due to its exceptional significance.  The story of the chapel will surely touch your heart.  If you'd like to know more, go to http://www.thorncrown.com/history.html.
