| We spent a couple of nights at
Yampa River State Park near Craig, CO and enjoyed a little hike along the
river. |

| On Sunday, August 4, we visited
the Hayden Congregational United Church of Christ in Hayden, CO as there
were no Methodist Churches near us. |
 |
| It was a lovely little church
with an order of service very similar to Methodism. We enjoyed Pastor
Janet Babish's message on "Bulging Barns". |

| The campground was in a
beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. |
 |
| There were strange piles of wood
all along the road. There was a terrible invasion of pine bark beetles
a few years ago and it is our belief that these diseased trees were cut and
piled up for burning at a future date. |
