Father Dyer Campground near Leadville, we decided to try to locate the
source of the Arkansas River. Pictured is Mount Arkansas looming at
13,795 feet. |

beginning of the Arkansas but, as you can see, we got pretty close! |

| And, as usual, the wildflowers
were in full bloom. |

| One of our favorite
activities, when we visit Colorado, is to run the high mount passes.
