Picnics are always fun.  You get to eat what you want with people you like.  Besides that, in Colorado you almost always get to pick a "perfect" spot that includes the noisy sound of a nearby stream.
Snow still abounds on top of the higher passes.  I can only wonder how deep this snow was during the late spring.
Nature shots are the name of the game in Colorado.  It has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world!
Nothing says Colorado like an aspen grove.
As we drive along the mountain roads, vistas such as this are the norm.
Our second sighting - this time a pair of moose.  Sightings such as this are rare, indeed.
