The museum's collection is housed in two main galleries with an overflow area in the basement.
Displays are largely chronological, tracing the history of the Studebaker family and corporation.
Car aficionados are in Heaven in the museum. You can see Starliners, Light Sixes, Larks, and the iconic Bullet-Nosed vehicles. After completing the two-floor tour of Studebaker history, guests can head down to the basement. Cars not on exhibit are stored here and rotated in and out of the collection. Also housed on this level are a variety of displays featuring Studebaker-made military vehicles. At various times in history, the Studebaker factory turned its production in full or in part to war supply.
We found South Bend to be a lovely town. It is the home of Notre Dame University and the Fighting Irish.

The 56,000 square foot RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN honors industry leaders and features a museum of vintage units from 1913 to the 1970s.
Reportedly, the oldest travel manufactured travel trailer in the world. It is a 1913 "Earl" Travel Trailer being pulled by a Model T Ford.
An early "teardrop" camper. These are still made and in use today. We have seen them in several campgrounds along the way. This is REAL camping.
