Along the trail, there was a cairn garden where many hikers had left their "mark".
There were even cairns in the trees!
The canyon is full of unbelieveable rock formations, best seen from the bottom, looking up.
On the Navajo Loop, beginning our steep ascent to the top.
This was just the beginning!
But, gosh, the hike was SO worth it. You cannot really appreciate the size and colors until you reach the canyon floor.
