Cheryl Lane turned a year older on the Ides of March. We had a party and dinner for her in Bubba. It looks like the humans are having a better time than the dogs.
While at Beaudry RV Park and Fix-It Place in Tucson, we were fortunate to see the Blue Angels who put on an air show at Davis-Monthan Air Base near where we were staying.
Notice the difference in the sky. We got to see them practicing for four days.
There were actually six Blue Angel planes in the air at all times. Most times you only saw four of them, but some formations included all six planes.
I would have to say this is precision flying. Wow!
After we left Tucson, Bubba headed to Patagonia State Park near Nogales, AZ with our buddies from California. There aren't an abundance of lakes in southern Arizona, so this was a real treat.
Along the way, we found a funky little winery. They had wines like Rattlesnake Red and Grand Canyon White. The tasting room was different than any we had seen before.
Carl, Cheryl, Ann and Jerry tasting some of Arizona's finest. Actually, it was not bad. Get a glimpse of the funky tasting room. What a hoot!
After three nights at Patagonia, we left by way of some of the prettiest scenery we had seen. From here we drove through Tucson to Yuma, AZ on the California/Mexico border.
