We also learned how and when maple syrup is made.  February and March are the busiest months on the farm.
Will we ever grow up?  I certainly hope not!
Something to consider . . . I'm betting on the second part.
Our wonderful campsite in Quechee State Park where the focal point is Vermont’s deepest gorge, Quechee Gorge.  At the bottom of the 165 foot deep gorge, formed by glacial activity approximately 13,000 years ago, is the Ottauquechee River.  Quechee is known as the "grand canyon of Vermont".
The drives throughout the Vermont countryside are just beautiful.  The roadsides are so clean and the scenery is so pristine.
And, of course, there are covered bridges everywhere.
Somewhere along the way, we read about the "Dog Chapel" and, of course, had to pay a visit.
