Another view of beautiful Flathead Lake.
We Arkansans are VERY spoiled with the most beautiful state parks in the country.  This is a typical Montana state park - parking on the side of the road!  And NO electric, water or sewer hookups.  All this for the same price as we pay in our beautiful state parks for all hookups.  Unbelievable.
We had a lovely picnic in the city park in Polson at the lower end of Flathead Lake.  If you're wondering why the chair is there . . . that's Harley's seat.  What?  Pampered pooch?  Say it ain't so . . .
Flathead Valley is home to many, many cherry orchards and they are beautiful as they hang heavy with fruit.
Photographs do not do justice to the beautiful color of this lake.  We both agreed that the color is even more beautiful than Lake Tahoe.
On Sunday, July 7, we visited the First United Methodist Church in Columbia Falls, MT.  It was a lovely service led by minister Debbie Wacker and is obviously, a thriving congregation.
Loved the cross and the beautiful stone work behind the altar.  And they gave visitors a jar of huckleberry-rasberry jelly as a gift.  I like this church!
