Holland Falls was quite a spectacle and the spray was a welcome respite on a hot day.
Looking down the falls, one can see how rugged the path of the water is.
We watched 2 birds play in the spray of the water.  The one on the left would leave and bring back food for the one on the right.  They looked as though they were kissing.  She would flap her wings in joy and gratitude.  They were so much fun to watch!
We saw lots of these beautiful flowering bushes along the trail.  Maybe some variety of serviceberry?  Hmmmmmmm.
Nearing the end of the 3-mile hike, Jerry and Harley picked up the pace.  I think they were ready to be done with it!
When we returned to Bubba, Ann took her chair down to Holland Lake's edge and cooled her feet.  There were a number of waterfowl on the lake which always makes for a pleasant experience.
You can see that our campsite was right on the edge of the lake in a beautiful setting.  You can also see Harley on the lookout!
