We attended the United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 12 in North Kingston, Rhode Island.
It was a beautiful little church but, like so many others we have visted, there were not a lot of people in attendance.  Hopefully, that's just because it is summer, although so many small churches we have visited seem to be struggling.
Entering Connecticut marked a major milestone for Bubba.
State number 49!!!!
Harley says "I just can't think about it!"
After conquering the drive around New York City, we headed toward the US Military Academy at West Point.
We were quite taken with the West Point campus which is spread among 3,000 beautiful and hilly acres.  In addition, not far from here, are 13,000 additional acres that are used for field training, and off-limits to civilians.  Our tour guide informed us that there are 4,400 cadets here with 17% being women.  There are also another 1,500 permanent soldiers here.
