The enduring fame of the Old North Church began on the evening of April 18, 1775, when the church sexton, Robert Newman, and Vestryman Capt. John Pulling, Jr. climbed the steeple and held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were marching to Lexington and Concord by sea across the Charles River and not by land.  This fateful event ignited the American Revolution
Founded in 1722, Christ Church, known to all as the Old North Church, is Boston’s oldest surviving church building and most visited historical site.
Each year, a half a million visitors make the trip to Boston to experience this unique and stirring monument to liberty.
Now is the time
This would be the pew where the Linebargers would have sat!
The pulpit is so beautiful.  The minister certainly wanted to be above all others!
"One if by land, and two if by sea", the phrase related to Paul Revere's midnight ride, of April 18, 1775, which preceded the Battles of Lexington and Concord.
