Of course, one of
our first stops HAD to be the Bull & Finch Pub, the inspiration for
the setting of the TV show, Cheers. |
 |
The Bull and Finch
has long been a favorite hangout for locals. In fact, in 1982, when the
Cheers show premiered, Boston Magazine chose the Bull & Finch Pub as
the “Best Neighborhood Bar”. This is actually the original bar
setting. |
 |
This is the
recreated TV set from Cheers, located upstairs from the original bar. |
 |
And this speaks for
itself. :-) |
 |
The famous door
where Norm would enter, always with a comment that would make viewers
laugh. |
 |
Back in the
mid-eighties, Jerry spent many nights at this hotel working with
consultants hired by St. Vincent to do a Little Rock market
analysis. These were not fun trips for Jerry. |
 |
Tired out from all
the walking, we stopped in the Beantown Pub for a beverage. The pub
is right across from the Granary Cemetery where Samuel Adams and Paul
Revere are both buried. |
