A beautiful church in Creel.  Most of the population is Roman Catholic.
Bob and Netty Kaskel from Emmett, ID putting purified water into their rig.  This was the norm in Mexico.
Our group (second) on its way to Batopilas.  This is our first rest break.
A Tarahumara Indian selling wares on the road to Batopilas.
The view from the back of the van.  It was tight even with our bags tied on top.
The first part of the dirt road to Batopilas (45 miles of it) was at a high elevation and had snow and ice on it.  As we descended, the road became dry.
One of several waterfalls we saw as we drove toward the canyon floor.
Our first view of the Batopilas River.
A shrine along the way.
