The entire area was laced with roads and settings like this.  There are miles and miles of great spots just like this.
As we drove along Movie Road, we saw a sign indicating Paramount Pictures filmed the day before we got there.  These two Humvees were parked on the road.  Hmm.
Look carefully in the left ditch and you can just make out a bunch of big electrical cables.  Also notice the dark shadow across the road about halfway down.
When we got to the dark shadow, we found that it was actually debris scattered about from an explosion.
Apparently, Paramount was making some sort of war movie and blew up a Humvee.
We drove very close to the Sierra Nevada mountains.  It happened to be clear on this day, but the morning we left town there was a high mountain snowstorm.
A perfect location to sneak around and get the bad guy.
For those of you who have seen Gunga Din, now you know more.
A Spring snow storm crossing the Sierra Nevada.  We are simply fascinated with mountain weather.
