Churchill Downs - the acme for race horses.
The facility is well maintained and very beautiful.
In the Kentucky Derby Museum.
We really enjoyed our visit to the Louisville Slugger factory. And, at the end, they gave each of us our own mini-bat.
The view of the track from the club where we had breakfast on Thursday. Wish our seats had been this good!
One of our side trips was to the Thoroughbred Center where most of the horses who end up in the Run for the Roses are trained.
We enjoyed watching the horses work out and being able to visit with the trainers at the Thoroughbred Center.
And it's Derby Day! There were many, many "characters" to watch. We saw a few being escorted out by the police. Oops!
The Pegasus parade was fun.
