One of our stops was at a Steller Sea Lion rookery.
We spotted a whale, but Ann could only manage a spout photo.
Huge ice chunks piled upon the terminal moraine of Columbia Glacier.
Glacier ice is bluest just after it "flips".
A deck hand scooped up a piece of glacier ice for us to see. It surprised us that it is so clear. This particular ice is about 250 years old, young for glacial ice.
Small ice chunks in Columbia Bay. Our boat navigated through this icefield.
Ann got a beautiful shot of a Bald Eagle in flight near the boat.
The photographer is fond of waterfalls.
